Application for the 2025 Spring Market


When is the market

Saturday, April 19, 2025 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
 Sunday April 20, 2025 - 10am to 3pm

Submitting your file & important dates

  • We accept applications until January 8, 2025 23:59. 
  • We will refuse any application that is incomplete or whose links are not functional.
  • You will receive a reply to your application by e-mail no later than February 3, 2025.
  • If you are accepted, your payment must be received no later than August 25, 2024. Otherwise, you will be replaced without further notice once this date has passed.

Cost and payment

The rates below are for a permanent space to place a 6-foot table, so a space 8 feet wide by 6 feet deep.

We do not offer double space.

Rates :

  • 2-day particiation: $180
  • 1-day particiation: $95
  • Young entrepreneurs (16 and under) - 1 day including table rental: $50
  • Table rental: $12, for 1 or 2 days.
  • Chair(s): included in rental price

Cancellation policy :

No refunds will be made for cancellations once payment has been received.

Evaluation criteria

  • Have an active online store, regardless of the platform, and offer quality handmade products.
  • Companies from the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region will be given priority in the selection process, followed by companies from adjacent cities such as Montreal's West Island and South Shore. Companies from other cities will be considered next.
  • The number of applications per category; we want to diversify the products and price ranges offered on site
  • Store evaluation: to have a complete store whose product sheets contain quality images, respect copyright, handmade values and complete descriptions.
  • Be a registered company, which means having a NEQ if your full name is not in your company name.

Basic event information

  • La Vitrine Vaudreuil-Soulanges has been organizing events since 2019.
  • This will be the 3rd spring market in a row to be held at these locations.
  • Our Post-Covid Spring Markets attract 2,500-3,000 visitors. Our aim is to attract buyers, not just visitors.
  • We're planning a variety of activities this Easter weekend!

NEQ 
This is necessary to complete your application, since it is a legal prerequisite from the first dollar sold by a company. Be careful not to confuse this with tax registration, which is not required until you reach a certain level of sales. In case you still haven't registered. Note that the whole process is fairly simple and quick to obtain. Remember that it's a legal prerequisite for running a business, and there's no minimum income required. Exception: if your full name appears in your company name, the NEQ is not mandatory. For example, “Geneviève Juillet, joaillière” doesn't need a NEQ, but “Création SP” does.
