Originally from Montérégie, she now lives in the countryside, surrounded by her animals and daily inspirations. An early riser, she writes what she loves to dream: romances full of twists, passion... and perhaps a touch of mystery. Host of the Facebook page J’aime la chick-lit, she happily shares her literary favorites. Her motto? Read, write, dream... and do it all over again. As for whether reading counts as a sport or if she prefers lobster over poutine — some secrets are best kept hidden. 😉

Chantal Tessier

It was this transformative path that led her to dedicate herself to writing.

Author of four books, Chantal now combines her passions for healing and nature. A practitioner of vagal tone, resilience coach, herbalist, and forest therapist, she also leads conferences and training on stress, anxiety, and trauma, highlighting the workings of the nervous system.

Daniel Simard

A multi-talented artist, Daniel Simard is both a singer-songwriter and an author. After three albums widely distributed in Canada and France, he returns with a novel that is as funny as it is touching: Je suis Boff. Inspired by a real-life event, this story takes us on the quirky adventures of Marco as he searches for a missing dog... an adventure that quickly turns into a wild rescue operation.

Beneath the humor and colorful dialogue, Daniel raises an important reflection: the way humans treat animals. His skilled writing balances tenderness and absurdity, while subtly denouncing these issues.

A true story that will make you laugh, reflect... and perhaps even leave you wondering: what happened after the rescue?

Danielle Cormier

A resident of Vaudreuil-Dorion, Danielle Cormier was not an avid reader before her thirties. It was during the pandemic that she rediscovered the joy of reading, rekindling a promise she had made years earlier: to write a novel. Her first book, Je ne regrette rien, explores the life of Lou Miller, a woman striving to overcome the challenges life has thrown at her. Inspired by personal experiences, Danielle offers a poignant narrative about resilience and the search for oneself. Her sincere and accessible writing touches readers right in the heart.

Audrey Fox

Audrey is a Quebec author passionate about romance, as well as nature, photography, and... organized chaos (thanks to her three children!). Originally from Vaudreuil-Soulanges, she still lives there, somewhere between the forests of Rigaud Mountain and her dreams of adventure.

Holder of a bachelor's degree in Recreation, Culture, and Tourism (Go Recreation!), Audrey loves to promote culture in all its forms. Although she spends much of her time organizing public events, Audrey is, above all, a true introvert at heart. She needs quiet moments to recharge, whether by getting lost in nature, daydreaming by a lake, or kicking off a new playlist for an impromptu road trip.

For her, writing is about sharing raw emotions—the ones hiding behind laughter, tears, and a touch of madness. Every word, every page is an invitation to lose yourself in a world that mirrors her own: one filled with passion, imagination, and genuine characters (well... as genuine as a werewolf can be!).

Elaine Brunette

Élaine Brunette debuts with La Symphonie d’Agatha, a first novel filled with emotion, music, and family secrets. Through the story of Agatha Becker, a virtuoso pianist with a journey as bright as it is troubled, she takes us on a deeply human narrative where silences sometimes speak louder than words.

With degrees in translation, political science, and education, she devoted more than thirty years to teaching and management before fully dedicating herself to her lifelong passion: writing.

Her first novel, Jeu cruel, features Katelyna, a heroine destined to become empress and embrace a destiny as glorious as it is dangerous. Get ready to dive into a world where each page hides a twist.

At the Fair, Kelly will offer her novel in both paperback and regular formats, along with themed bookmarks, a book about the characters, and literary accessories such as candles and personalized mugs. A raffle will even give you the chance to win the next four upcoming volumes!

Kelly's universe is vast, vibrant, and above all... a must-see.

Isabelle Gareau

With Les poulettes du dodo, Isabelle creates a work as gentle as it is endearing, born from a precious memory and a deep love for family traditions. Inspired by the lullaby La poulette grise, which her mother used to sing to her and which she, in turn, sang to her own child, the author from Coteaux wanted to bring this old melody back to life, as it was no longer available in its original version.

From this quest was born a touching project, filled with tenderness and poetry: an illustrated children's book, accompanied by music, that transports both young and old to the land of little hens... and restful sleep. With sensitivity and determination, Isabelle herself created the illustrations, bringing to life a universe full of softness.

Les poulettes du dodo is much more than just a children's book: it’s a cherished bedtime ritual, a bridge between generations, and a beautiful reminder that childhood memories can transform into true cultural treasures.

Jonathan Simard

Jonathan Simard writes as he breathes: with the imagination of a child, the twisted logic of an insomniac philosopher, and the audacity of a demon on Red Bull. His series "Une série comme les autres" dives headfirst into the strange, the absurd, and the deeply human.

Une usine comme les autres: Paul Lennon wanted to become Elvis. Instead, he found a job in a... possessed factory. Between dreamlike pétanque games and "accidental" accidents, the atmosphere is more metal than rock.

Une école comme les autres: Vincent discovers that his parents are magicians. He attempts astral murder in 19 steps with his friends, while Dartagnan refuses to eat magical broccoli. Seriously.

Reading Jonathan is like opening a door to a parallel world where the absurd makes sense, and where the subconscious looks you straight in the eye.

Small detail: he insists that his photo be upside down. Don’t ask questions. It’s probably a spell.

Karine doesn't stop there. She is currently working on a small range of literary products (pillows, bags, etc.), because after all, what’s better than a stylish pillow to collapse with a good book?

Nathalie Préfontaine

A passionate runner for over 30 years, Nathalie Préfontaine presents Rassemble ceux qui te ressemblent, an inspiring and deeply human work. Through a series of interviews conducted between 2022 and 2024 with 30 passionate runners, she explores how running has transformed their lives... and her own.

Each chapter is a vibrant portrait, born from generously shared testimonies. These stories not only nourished her book but also inspired her to face her own challenges: publishing her work and running her first ultramarathon at 53 years old.

This project, born from a personal loss, has become a powerful vehicle for reconnection and expression. With a touching pen, Nathalie Préfontaine reminds us that running can be much more than a sport: it is a tool for transformation, overcoming challenges, and connecting with others.

A work that combines breath, emotion, and resilience — much like its author.

Pier Davi

Pier Davi is a multi-talented artist: novelist, screenwriter, and lyricist, he navigates the world of words with passion and intensity. He began his artistic career as a teenager, first as a drummer and percussionist for rock bands and Quebecois artists, including Garou.

In 1995, he left the drumsticks behind to fully embrace writing. As the lyricist for the musical Noémia, which was first performed in 2008 in Lasalle and will be revived in 2025 in Liège, he later made his mark by winning the Plume d’or in 2009 at the En scène Drummondville competition.

In 2012, he published Cent Pensées à rien, an introspective collection, before delving into the world of novels with Clavium, his very first. Since then, he has enriched his bibliography with more than a dozen works, revealing a style that is both sensitive, powerful, and deeply rooted in the human experience.

Pier Davi is a writer who makes words resonate like he once did with percussion: with rhythm, emotion, and intensity. 4o mini
